Ema Meditation ("the App") is published by OMNYSCOPE. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our mobile application for guided meditation and breathing exercises.

  • Account data: email address, first name, last name (when you create an account)

  • Subscription data: premium subscription status (managed by Google Play / Apple — we do not store your payment information)
  • Technical identifiers: an anonymous identifier automatically assigned to each user
  • Local preferences: notification settings, reminder time (stored locally on your device)

We do not collect:

  • Location data
  • Contacts or address book
  • Audio or video recordings
  • Health data
  • Advertising identifiers

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

  • Sync your progress across your devices
  • Personalize your experience (language, sound preferences)

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase (hosted on AWS, Europe region). All communications between the App and our servers are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

Payment data is handled exclusively by Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We never have access to your banking or credit card information.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your data may be shared only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes described above:

  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication
  • RevenueCat — in-app subscription management
  • Google Play / Apple — payment processing

These providers are subject to their own privacy policies and comply with GDPR.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained for statistical purposes.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Right to rectification — correct any inaccurate data

Terms of Use — Ema Meditation

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern the use of the Ema Meditation mobile application, published by OMNYSCOPE.

2. Access to the App

The App offers guided meditation and breathing exercises. Some features are available for free. Access to the full library of content requires a premium subscription (Ema Premium).

Users may use the App without creating an account. In this case, progress is stored locally on the device and is not synced across devices. Creating an account enables cloud synchronization.

3. Premium Subscription

  • Monthly subscription: automatic renewal each month
  • Annual subscription: automatic renewal each year, with a 7-day free trial (where available)

Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by country. Payments are processed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

4. Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription from your Google Play or App Store account settings.

No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law or the policies of Google Play / Apple.

5. Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it is limited to one trial per Google/Apple account. At the end of the trial period, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled beforehand.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
  • Redistribute, share, or resell premium content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription or access controls

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App (meditations, music, texts, illustrations, software) is the exclusive property of OMNYSCOPE or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited.

8. Disclaimer

The App provides wellness and relaxation content for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

OMNYSCOPE makes no claims regarding therapeutic or medical benefits.

9. Availability

We strive to keep the App available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and cannot be held liable for temporary service interruptions due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OMNYSCOPE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
